IPAR, in partnership with the Senegalese Network of Think Tanks (SENRTT) and the Alternative Report on Africa (RASA), is organizing a webinar for exchange and reflections on the integration of recommendations from the 2023 Global Quadrennial Report on Sustainable Development in Senegal and West Africa.
The specific objectives of the webinar are as follows:
To disseminate information about the process of the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) and the establishment of the Independent Group of Scientists (IGS).
To share the key messages of the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR).
To reflect on how to address issues specific to Senegal and West Africa.
To define an agenda for aligning the Report's recommendations with national and regional policies and strategies.

Welcome remarks by: Dr. Cheikh Oumar Ba (Executive Director of IPAR) and Dr. Cheikh Guèye (SENRTT/RASA).
Introductory Conference: Dr. Ibrahima Hathie, distinguished researcher at IPAR, and member of the independent group of scientists responsible for preparing the GSDR 2023.
Moderator: Dr. Pape Abdoulaye Seck, former Minister of Agriculture, and former Ambassador of Senegal to FIDA/FAO/PAM in Rome.
