Call for Participants: The Dakar Publishing and Grant Writing Seminar
The Dakar Publishing Academy invites participants to the first Edition of the Publishing and Grant Writing Seminar on 27, 28, and 29 July 2023 at the West African Research Center, Dakar. Participants will be trained to write research grants and learn about the process of getting published in reputable peer-reviewed journals in Africa and outside the continent. Participants will engage with journal and book editors and scholars with considerable experience in publishing and grant writing.
Participants must be able to travel to Dakar for the seminar dates and will receive an honorarium for transport and accommodation.
Eligibility:
· Research interests in the humanities or social sciences
· Ph.D. or Masters student at a public university in Senegal or The Gambia
· Junior Faculty at a public university in Senegal or The Gambia (less than 5 years post PhD)
