Call for Articles for the Varia and Review Sections of Global Africa

Global Africa is a pan-African, international journal, dedicated to the expression, dissemination and promotion of excellent research in the humanities and social sciences on the African continent and its diaspora. It welcomes reflections on global issues and their challenges apprehended from Africa and its diasporas to show how the transformations of the world are played out from the continent.

Global Africa aims to be the echo of the new voices of African research. Its objective is to significantly increase the African contribution to global scientific creation, and to arouse critical reflexivity to strengthen the epistemological, theoretical, methodological and ethical foundations of research in the humanities and social sciences (HSS).

Global Africa publishes a thematic issue four times a year, including special issues (varia), expert viewpoints on current affairs and book reviews. Global Africa journal is available online for free, on the website, in full text, upon release, at no cost to the reader and without any associated processing fees (Article Processing Charge - APC) for the authors or their institutions, in accordance with the Diamond Open Access publishing model.

Varia

The journal Global Africa continuously welcomes manuscripts for its various sections (Critical Analyses, (Re)discovery, RegArts, shot and reverse shot, The Interdisciplinary/Comparative File) to disseminate texts that do not fit into the different thematic calls for contributions but are related to the central or related themes covered by the journal. These articles will be part of the "varia" each year. It's possible to publish an outside article in a thematic issue.

For any information on submission procedures, presentation and evaluation requirements, as well as our accountability policies, we invite you to explore the "guidelines for authors" tab and the sections.

Reviews

All proposals for book reviews, critiques of documentary films, or works of art related to the themes addressed by the journal are welcome. For further information, please contact our Publishing secretary: redaction@globalafricapress.org.
