Ruth Vanié is a master's student in human and economic geography at the Institute of Tropical Geography (IGT) at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University (UFHB) in Abidjan. She is an intern within the interdisciplinary project "ANR APIMAMA" (2022-2025) and conducts semi-structured interviews with groups of women overexposed to atmospheric pollution in Abidjan, due to their use of polluting combustion energies (wood, charcoal) for domestic and commercial practices. She is currently writing her thesis on this topic.

Ruth Vanié est étudiante en master de géographie humaine et économique à l’Institut de Géographie Tropicale (IGT) de l’Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny (UFHB) à Abidjan. Elle est stagiaire au sein du projet interdisciplinaire « ANR APIMAMA » (2022-2025) et réalise des entretiens semi-directifs auprès de groupes de femmes surexposées à la pollution atmosphérique à Abidjan, du fait de leur utilisation d’énergies de combustions polluantes (bois, charbon de bois) pour des pratiques domestiques et commerciales. Elle rédige actuellement son mémoire de fin d’étude sur ce sujet.
